Doctor habilitatus of economics, professor at the Warsaw School of Economics. Member of supervisory and advisory boards.

A graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics and the WEMBA program by the Warsaw School of Economics and the University of Minnesota.

In the past, an intern at the European Central Bank and a consultant at the World Bank.

Chief economist of the Civic Platform (Platforma Obywatelska party), chairman of the Polish Economists Society, associate of the Civil Development Forum (FOR), member of the Monetary Policy Council of the third term.

Earlier, among others, advisor to the Governor of the National Bank of Poland, associate of the Center for Social and Economic Research (CASE), chief economist at Altus TFI.

Winner of many scientific awards, including the Kronenberg Foundation award and the award of Fryderyk Skarbek from First Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, two of the most prestigious Polish awards in economics.
